The joys of optometry school. I was looking at a tile wall the other day, when all a sudden, my eyes overconverged and the wall started moving forward, just like a Magic eye stereogram. Wow, it was sooo cool, inducing steropsis where none is intended. But no one seems to think it's nearly as astounding as I do.
Oh, and here's my solution to Benji's tendancy to always look at light sources.

I always think that babies look at lights because they came from a world of light; maybe they're seeing angels! I don't think the veil gets closed immediately. Some of our babies have gotten really excited when they see pictures of Jesus when they were only about 5 months old. Very cool.
